We handle felonies and misdemeanors in the state courts of Dallas County and traffic tickets and class c misdemeanors in selected municipal and JP courts in Dallas County.
  
We do not handle cases in the federal courts and we do not do any post-judgment work such as criminal appeals, motions for new trial, writs of habeas corpus, or parole matters.
  
We do, however, handle probation violations, petitions for non-disclosure and expunctions.
  
Also related to criminal practice we petition for occupational drivers licenses.
  
   
Felonies can range tremendously in seriousness and price. It is impossible to give price estimates without information about a particular case and the client's criminal history.
  
Our minimum fee on any felony is $1,500 for an agreed disposition. We will start a minimum fee case for $1,000 down with the balance payable in 60 days. Minimum trial fees are $2,500 for a trial by judge and $5,000 for a trial by jury.  Very serious cases will greatly exceed these fees and may require a retainer of several thousand dollars.
  
We generally do not get involved with bond reduction matters or bonding in general. We do not do post judgment work including appeals, motion for new trials, writs of habeas corpus, or parole matters.
